Synopsis:
Zereth is an ordinary high school student in Arcadia City, balancing his studies with his passion for martial arts. Though he is intelligent beyond his years, excelling in subjects like quantum physics and biology, his world is about to be turned upside down. What starts as a normal day quickly spirals into a nightmare when a government experiment goes horribly wrong. A breach at Blackfall Research Station, a facility known for its top-secret projects, unleashes a strange alien anomaly that begins to warp reality itself.
As chaos erupts across the city, Zereth is thrust into a brutal fight for survival. When an unexpected encounter with a terrifying creature leaves a mysterious imprint on his mind, he begins to develop strange new abilities—powers that allow him to manipulate time itself. But these powers come with a price. The more he uses them, the more he begins to lose his humanity, his moral compass shifting from kindness to cold ruthlessness.
Now, Zereth must navigate a world that is quickly descending into madness. The streets are overrun by horrifying monsters—Aberrants—and even more dangerous, time-bending creatures known as Chronovores that threaten to unravel reality. As his power grows, so does the isolation he feels. He will need to make alliances with other survivors, build a group of powerful fighters, and lead them against the horrors that now rule the world.
But as Zereth's abilities evolve, he finds himself on a darker path. His desire for survival becomes an insatiable hunger, a drive that demands the destruction of those who stand in his way. The world is unraveling, and as the Chronophage, Zereth must decide if he will become the hero humanity needs—or the monster it fears.
In the end, Zereth will devour everything in his path, even time itself, to rebuild a shattered world or to leave only ruin in his wake.
